LEAP Vancouver

By bringing together real world learning and the opportunity to refresh some skills, Leap Vancouver hopes to provide a gateway back into the city’s growing tech industry.

“British Columbia’s tech sector employs more than 100,000 people in over 9,900 companies,” notes Edoardo De Martin, Director of Microsoft Vancouver. “As it continues to grow, we hope the LEAP program will help individuals pursue their passion in technology, while also driving diversity in the industry.”

The LEAP Vancouver positions are paid contracts with the possibility of a full-time offer for those who successfully complete the program. To be considered, applicants need to have a minimum of 12 months away from professional or paid work, a BS or MS in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent degree and some experience in software development.
